How long does it take to approve a post?

He hasn't really been around lately. Real world stuff has been keeping him away, as has been the case for most of the site staff for one reason or another.

Actually garage sale items approval has been turned off, things post up immediately

Hi Rick, the Sales section gets too full of old and sold Items and it dilutes the real use for the section, which is to sell stuff. There are more than sufficient live For Sales items that can be used for price indications. I have received a number of requests to clean old items off. Regards

Okay, then start from the back and clean off the really old stuff, not the stuff that is recently selling. I agree, stuff that sold back 5 years ago for example probably has a different price than today. I hope you can reconsider. Regards

Instead of deleting the post, I started to just Lock the thread. That way they can still be viewed for reference but they wont clog up the active items for sale.
