hi all, I have an 18 Raptor and while I love it this new gladiator has me thinking of cheating on her... I mean it promises to be quite the off roader and while I don’t go off the beaten path often (I have a 4 dr Polaris general for that) the removable top is amazingly intriguing. I never owned a Jeep before and I always need a truck for business. This gladiator has me all messed up in my head lol. Anyone else thinking the same ? Reliability an issue with jeeps ? Longevity of the turbo 3.5 a concern ?

I don't mind the Gladiator but the bed that hangs past the tire seems to be too much. They probably could have benefited from using a whole different platform opposed to a Wrangler extendo model lol . BMS just did one last week. A little too bro for me but lifted they look a little more proportionate. Not much though. It would actually look better with a 4' bed but not very usable as a truck

Shirley, you can't be serious. Go drive a jeep for a day and think long and hard what it would be like to drive it everyday. I predict you will be trading it for another Raptor in short order.

Owned a wrangler, hated it. Having to floor it to get on the highway was never fun, along with feeling like the doors were gonna blow off.

I've owned nothing BUT Jeeps until I bought the Raptor. I always loved my Jeeps and their turning radius, their Uconnect, their shifting. But I hate their dealership support, it offsets a perfectly good vehicle. They kept a brand new Jeep for 2 weeks to re-enable the trailer lights in the computer -- a 30 minute clean job. They wouldn't schedule an appointment to do it, they made me leave it on the lot for 2 weeks unlocked. Covered in dust and bird poop when I got it back. Several times I've caught the dealerships outright lying about doing maintenance while billing the warranty. I just don't trust them anymore.

The Raptor is an acquired taste, in my opinion. Compared to my Jeeps the Raptor is too big, uses too much gas, and its technology is primitive. But I wouldn't go back to Jeep after getting my Raptor. I love this truck.
