My girl refused to drive my screw. I separated both of my shoulders, then she didn't have a choice because I couldn't get into her Toyota and my dog doesn't fit well either. She now enjoys driving the truck!

Trucks are awesome. I hate getting in my wife's X5 it feels so small any more.

Mine was super intimidated by it, but she can drive it and park it just fine now. Even showing some promise at off-roading too.

Well, I'm now "that guy" as I've gone ahead and got the ZR2 Duramax, coming from a gen 2 raptor. It wasn't my original intention, but daughter decided to take out a concrete lamp post, and though she didn't get hurt, the truck was totaled. Both my wife and daughter complained about the overall size of the Raptor, though I loved it. I went shopping for another Gen2 as the Gen3s were out of my budget due to the insurance payout being far less than what I would've needed to go for the 3. The problem I had was most of the Gen2s were very high mileage, and I just couldn't bring myself to put a good chunk of change down on a 60K+ mile truck. I decided to take a look at the ZR2 with the Duramax because all of my cars have absolutely crap gas mileage and require premium (BMW m50i/ McLaren GT) and the Raptor was worse than all of them. I wasn't in love with the looks as it's so damn tall and skinny, but it is growing on me and the interior just blows the Gen2 out of the water. I've started to really like it, as long as I'm not trying to haul ass around corners or mash the pedal at every green light. My raptor had a DSC suspension controller that really improved the street handling, so i got spoiled. The body lean on the ZR2 is pretty bad, and the skinnier 33s don't help. I miss the Gen2, but all in all, I'm pretty happy with the ZR2. I haven't taken it off road yet, and I've got less than 700 miles on it, but I can tell the DSSVs are going to be pretty awesome on trails and rocks. And getting higher than advertised highway mileage is the icing on the cake. I'm pushing 23 with a new engine, so it should only go up from here until its properly broken in (they say max mileage should be around 5k miles).
