Hate to say I told ya but... I've been looking for a wrecked one and I've seen way less damaged ones that were full totals. But even a totalled one still sells for 15-30k. Is it totalled?

This truly does suck, and I'm glad you were not hurt.

Does all this really warrant an aftermarket bumper? What is the true cost? A few weeks without your raptor, and a 500 copay? ( Maybe $1000) Don't get me wrong, I love an aftermarket bumper, but given this situation, the deer could have caused allot of damage.
Also, does insurance cover the cost of an aftermarket bumper?

More pics of the Raptor vs Deer

Just got back from the body shop and now I can see why the repair bill is so high. the tubes from the front cab corner to the rad support are bent and this has damaged the plastic fenders and hood, note how far back the bumper mounting brackets are bent!
As far as, does this deserve an after market bumper?... Hell yeah! and you know what there is very little difference in the price. Rock On A D D !

As part of the repair , my bodyshop is going to do a perch adjust for me, now I've looked through all of the threads (I think) here to see if there are any pictures or definate statements of what is best.
Ultimately I want to level the truck.. so do I do a middle or upper perch adjustment.
Secondly, from what I know about steering geometry, I don't understand why we do an alignment check after a perch adjust as we don't change the camber or castor angles, KPI stays the same because we don't touch the upper and lower arms, all we are really doing is lifting the body on top of the Mac strut, please tell me if I'm wrong here.

I say mid perch! As for the alignment as you adjust the preload on the shocks. It raises the front end, and causes it to toe in.. Mid perch does not cause a lot of toe in, but top perch does..
