Looked at the video...the Raptor looks more graceful playing around on the sands. More at home. The dodge looks out of place.

The guy even called it, he said it wasent a good comparison. But if you listen to what he said, he said the Raptor was great for small to medium bumps and had great power and the stance is killer. Onlyositive thing he said about the ram is the better suspension in knarley terrain. So I get out of it is the Raptor stock out of he box wins all over the board and if you spend the 6k you can rock the shit out of the highly Moded Ram in the only place it was good.

I just watched the video and thought the same thing. The Raptor just looked like it handled everything so much better, the Ram looked stiff and rigid.

I'd like to see sales stats on the Ram Runner too...see how many of these are out there, being used.

I'm not against the Ram Runner or pissed off about it or anything at all. What mystifies me is that Mopar is marketing it heavily now, yet the people in the dealerships are the last to know about it. Raptorguy21 went to every single Ram dealer in our area asking about it and not 1 single employee, salesman, tech, or sales manager had any clue what he was talking about. One of the salesmen basically told him he was lying and there is no such thing and it would never be made!!! Julian (Rg21) finally said "**** this, I'm not gonna try to buy a truck that is this impossible to get.... where the dealerships don't even believe me that their own product exists"

He said the salesmen were literally staring at him like he was asking about buying a unicorn. Hilarious.

Wow, you think they'd know something about it at least. I wonder if they know anything about any of the other Mopar packages that are offered for the Challenger and other cars? Maybe they don't get educated on that stuff.

Hey this is pretty cool... it turns out a friend of mine grew up with and is still very good friends with Chad Ragland. In fact, Jonn worked and co-rode with his dad, Larry Ragland in many SCORE and HDRA races, on a factory Chevrolet off-road team. Its a small, small world.

I asked Jonn to hit Chad up for the inside and off the record scoop the next time they talk. He said he sure would, and that he already knew this event was pretty much a publicity stunt.

I'll pass on whatever he says!

If Dodge really wants to brag about this kit car, then they need to step up to the plate and FACTORY produce it complete with warranty...Otherwise they need to ****.
