OK well you all (and others) convinced me I needed to skip the Shelby and Get a regular F250. Problem was finding one as my dealer said 9 months for an order if I was lucky. Found a Platinum but would like the slight lift and maybe 35s. Anyone have suggestion on how to mod this thing?
Where do you live? I have a dealer here who has ordered Superdutys for friends of mine and gotten them fairly quick.

Superdutys are being built faster than the f-150’s. My dealer said 6-9 weeks

Well if you look on the superduty forums that would be unusual. Maybe for some of the lower tris levels. Loaded lariats and platinums many people waiting 6 months without a VIN

My personal opinion, I only like the Shelby treatment on what Shelby is known for, a Mustang. And I can see a justifiable price on those cars as they absolutely dominate in the performance segment.

I can’t quite explain it, but Shelby and Roush badging on Ford trucks never really did anything for me. I think for the difference in price between a regular Super Duty vs a Shelby one, you could do a much better (tasteful) build/mod on your own.

My $.02
Agree 100%.
Shelby builds the mustangs but ships the trucks off to Tuscany. The amount of fake carbon fiber and stickers really ruin it for me.
