Anyone else running the "Sport" TCM tune? I've been running this setup since Friday and came across a small issue. Curious if anyone else has had the same thing come up?

In NORMAL drive mode during light throttle situations, at about 28-30 mph, it will shift from 5-6 which is just slightly fast per the shift schedule (if i'm reading it right) but then it will almost immediately shift 6-7. Following the shift to 7th it will downshift back to 5th. This is all while applying pretty consistent light throttle. Per the shift schedule, it shouldn't perform 6-7 until roughly 40 mph? I've been able to reproduce the behavior several times. If your driving a little more spirited it seems to act pretty well. I am running 37" tires btw.

Now with all that being said, SPORT mode works flawlessly so far. I am 100% satisfied with how it performs. I have not tried the "OEM+" tune yet...

My truck does this with the stock size tires but at around 45. It will be in 7th then shift to 10th and lug the motor like the OEM TCM tune. After a few seconds it shifts back to 7th. It’s odd.

PM'd y'all with some questions.

Mine has done that as well but only one time. It seems to be getting better but I haven't drove the truck since Sunday so it's hard to say...

Flashed to OEM+ the other day. I was expecting it to feel more aggressive. In fact in feels smoother and more refined. It makes me wonder how Ford didn't do better from the factory, because this calibration is what the truck should have had. Yesterday I tried the Sport flash. I like that shifts are firmed up even more but I find it hold a gear longer than I'd like at with moderate throttle in Sport Mode. I flashed back to OEM+ and I think I'm going to leave it there. With the 93oct Stage 1 OTS flash I think the truck feels like everything it should have been from the factory, without any over the top behaviors.

I have been running the 93oct Stage 2 Cobb tune with the OEM+ TCM tuning for a few weeks and it has been a great experience so far. I like it better than the the MPT PR-X 93 tune I had been running for the prior 6,000+ miles. Haven't tried the Cobb Sport TCM tune yet.
