How badly bent is the truck in general (beyond the frame and front suspension)? I thought I read this was being parted out...why not get a new frame and rebuild it? Or is just about everything tweaked?

Like I said previously, most anything can be "fixed" especially with enough money. Hell, that's why/how vehicles are sold with salvage titles.

I still think that Raptor is totaled.

Thats what this weekend is for. I can say that about the only thing that looked straight and correct on a walk around was the hood and grill. :birgits_tiredcoffee

Looking at the wheel pics, I bet it was busted from a suspension component smashing it as opposed to the impact with earth. Its the inside of the wheel and its busted inward to the center and this is prolly cause the wheel was stopped upon impact.

Today is the first time I've actually read this thread. I've seen it for the last few days but just hadnt clicked it for some reason.

One thing comes to mind:

What an idiot.

I would say someone might have been trying to show off there.... just a bit.

If you zoom in real close and look at the cracked parts you can clearly see a label that says "WARNING: Made from inferior Chinese metal.". :uhoh2:

Can't imagine that truck ever coming back to life.
I wouldn't have tried flat landing a jump like that on one of my motocross bikes... :shakehead:

That truck would be a fun one to buy from insurance co and put just enough money to get it driveable and go out and beat the hell out of it. (again)

You wouldn't have to worry about any body damage, that's for sure!

That Raptor is totaled (IMO) and to buy it would involve a salvage title and then spending a boat load of money to try and get it in drive-able shape. I personally wouldn't bother spending any coin on that wreck. There are plenty of other ways to spend money rather than trying to breath life back into a corpse.
