Saw them listed for nearly $4K which is a lot compared to the ARE Overland. Funny that they mention it's steel ("like most trucks"). Both have similar weight ratings, ARE is limited lifetime warranty. Styling is subjective and if you are throwing a RTT on a grandpa topper probably not a big concern to you anyway.

Yeah these look like renderings from Off-road alliance's website. Can’t tell.

That's the first cap I like the look of.....I looked it up and it looks like it's modular construction which is a huge plus if you don't need the cap all the time. Also looks like you can add "Smart Components" which makes for a cleaner overall look if you're going for the overland capability. Going to seriously consider, thanks for sharing.

Also worth noting that these have integrated roof rails. When a Retrax Pro is almost 2k, while this application isn't cheap it's not out of line imo.

I agree. Almost $2K for top of the line covers with integrated roof racks. I was looking at the Retrax Pro. The price doesn't include the Rhino Rack. If you add the Vortex it's an additional $700. http://www.rhinorack.com/en-us/prod...lt600-trackmount-black-2-bar-roof-rack_ja8989.

The cheapest Smittybilt RTT is $1K. I think the price point makes sense.

At 5'6" that frying pan an tea kettle would be at my chin. They may need to rethink that design.
