Im sure a be a grandpa someday. I guess ive already got a head start! I really liked the smartcap but couldnt get one in time for our travels. I found an ARE Overland topper with crossbars and mounts, folding and sliding windows, for 2/3 less than what the guy paid for it new

Is it the same height as the truck cab? I would ultimately like an integrated cap/RTT like the offering from Camp King to hang with my friends Alucab Canopy Camper setup, but I can’t bring myself to give up garage parking.

So I went and measured because it doesn't seem much higher and its only a half inch taller than the roof. I think the rake of the truck throws it off. Its still going to be higher on the back because of the rake but if you have enough weight in the back from drawers or something and the truck is level you should be fine.
