I am guessing that a solution has not been found for this issue? I think someone who is handy could make a killing retro fitting the stock Gen 2 Raptor headlights with brighter amber LEDs just by the shear number of people wanting this.

Morimoto or the like sells an upgrade kit for the Amber’s. But they are not preinstalled. You have to open up your own headlights. Kit is only like 120 bucks or so. I just don’t have the patience to heat pull apart and put the headlights back together without ******** them up.

Everyone (myself included) are looking for brighter. Don't think we will get it without swapping LEDs though. The Gen 3's are so much brighter and the amber is more "rich". Don't know if that is more due to the diffuser, actual light, or both.
