Oh...so since you've always done it a different way it's wrong...cool story bro.

Did you look at the link I attached? The horns are behind the bumper and aren't blocking anything. Have you looked behind the grill at how much room there is? We were just discussing adding a light bar to mine, I can still fit 2, a 30 and a 40 if I'd like, even with the airhorn and the 4 whelens I have in my lower bumper. Kind of like how Yukon has 2 bars, a winch and 2 whelens....no issues with heat. But she's my grocery getter/ soon to be mommy mobile so I really don't need that much light.

Plus, regardless of the girls lack of taste in color schemes and filthy truck, you are assuming that she came in and said install these horns under the grill. My guess is that she said install these horns and they(the shop you went to to install headrest dvds, which in my opinion are gay on an off-road truck, but as you said, everyone has their own tastes, I guess) picked under the grill because its easier than under the bed. Ps... Depending on your offroading situation expect occasional water/mud horn under the bed. That's where Yukon's are installed.

Now I may seem a little snarky, you can blame that on my being pregnant or not... Either way... Opinions are like ********... You're opinion is that this is not a good mounting position for horns and this poor, hopefully color blind, chick deserves laughed at for it, my opinion is headrest dvds are for tools..

But truth is that this is a perfectly fine mounting position for horns, only drawback as I've already mentioned would be front end collision/projectile.

LOL no I wasn't saying it's wrong. I've just never done it that way. For all I know that could be the best spot for them the last time I did them was probably 10 years ago when I had a 2004 Dodge Neon of all cars with air bag suspension of all things.... :supergay: I've learned alot about mods since then and keep learning every day. The headrest monitors are for my 3 kids to keep them content on trips since they each have their own tablets but they still have to argue about his being too loud or whatever else they can complain about. But they all like the same movies!

Congrats on being preggo... You'll want a TV in yours one day. A TV and some headphones is a priceless peace mod with kids and with 3 boys for us it's a must have. Unlike those donk guys with 6 tvs and no passengers ours will get used for their intended purpose. I personally don't want them but my sanity does. I'd rather spend the cash on light bars and stuff.... But I wouldn't trade my kids for anything.

Thanks, Yes these are our first. And we have very grand dreams about not allowing our kids to have tablets and such... But we're also realists...you can check back with me in 5 years or so and see how that plan is going. I'm taking the fact that i have to seriously resist shattering our nieces tablets every time we are with them as a good sign.... But I also don't have to live with them everyday.

My horns (air horns that is)are behind the grill (minimal obstruction for sound travel :)) and the compressor is under the cab.
And congratulations, good luck and health for all involved (Babies love Raptors)

Yesterday I went raptor creeping... I have 5 raptors in a 1.5 mile radius of my home. Possibly 6 because the other one I haven't seen in quite some time and I think he parks it in his garage. 2 2010's actually 3 if you want to count mine ( 1 blue 5.4, another molten with graphics like mine but has the Orange inserts, 2012 red screw , 2013-14 terrain screw and a 2013-14 black screw with beadlocks. Who on here has more in their neighborhood than I do?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

3 black screws (including mine), 1 black scab, 1 white scab, 1 red screw, 1 silver screw and 1 blue Roush screw. Was also a molten orange around here at one time but he has since sold it. All are seen on a consistent basis.

You ladies are awesome when pregnant, it's like a 9 month vacation on some remote island with some strange lady....fantasy land if will.

My wife and I have three kids and there are no movies in our vehicles. That shit is bad to have. That doesn't mean that we don't own a tablet or smartphone, I'm a realist too. It's just that we monitor our oldest on those devices when allowed to use them....and only for 45 minutes a day. Technology is here and is not going anywhere.

Good luck on the delivery...you're world is about to get crazy! Enjoy it, you'd be bored otherwise.

We had the no technology dreams when our son was born too. Then came the first compromise, the Leap Frog tablet. That has worked out soo well! Educational, entertaining, and guarantees at least 10 minutes of peace and quiet. We do try and keep him away from the iPad, but we really only let him get on abcmouse.com, an educational website, at that.

Our son is almost 4, and headrest monitors have been something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Mostly because where we live in Northern California, every road trip is in excess of 2 hours. A trip to Disneyland is 6 non-stop hours....basically like going from Charlotte, NC to Jacksonville, FL. A little break from the "are we there yet?", would be awesome.

Basically... congrats on starting a family... and get ready for the whirlwind of craziness!

You can totally do it RW! When my kids were teenagers was when the vehicles starting coming out with built in DVD players. We had a mini van with them in it. Rarely ever turned them on. Actually used them as a reward for good behavior. When I took the grandkids to KY my daughter had portable DVD players. I refused to use them. Grand girls were 2 and 3 at the time. We sang songs and played games the whole 12 hour drive. Keep in mind it was normally a 9 hour drive but we were also ***** training. When we picked them up recently, now 3 and 4, for a 6 hour drive we did the same. We had a blast. My kids can tell you they probably learned more on road trips than they ever learned anywhere else. It's also their fondest memories. They still get excited, as adults, at the idea of a road trip with mom and dad.

Saw a black screw with lights at Firekeepers casino in battle Creek MI on St paddys day. They had it right upfront by the parking ramp, I think they figured it would not fit in the ramp lol. Hope they had as good of luck as I did. :everything:

Mini has a DVD I don't care how much they watch it as long as it's cars or loony toons can't stand listening to anything other than music. Now if I tell them to turn it off they don't argu ask them why they don't. Anything that don't have it is not going to have it just my personal preference. My kids play on the iPad and any electronic as long as they want but they have chores that have to be done first and same rule applies if I or mom says off. My advice to new parents you are the adult respect your kids get down to there level wham you talk to them and talk to them not at them. One warning then don't spare the rod but do it only when you are in the right mind. Exoplan first why then proceed it's not easy.

Other than a scare pop on the butt to scare my kids away from outlets or hurting them selves, that first spanking was hard she asked my why I was crying and I said I don't want to have to do this again. I've got ten fingers and 4 kids I don't think I've used all my fingers yet hope I don't have to. 15-6 took the first one 3-4 second one once therd once last twice I do not threaten them with it all day it's a cue word and that's all it takes. If you asked my kids if I we are stricken they would say no.
