Raptor 'Rally' Utah Worth it? or is it just a 'personal' version of the Assault, using our trucks..? which still may be worth it..

Looking to get the feed back on this one.. didn't see a thread on it, prob means it's a :poop: idea then..lol. Maybe..this is why I'm posting this.

Seriously though.. at first, I was like, yeah.. this'll be cool.. then, as I was explaining the event, and the things you can choose to participate in, to my girlfriend, it hit me.. almost instantly. Those who've been to the assault course know what I'm talking about.
Funny thing is, with my first raptor (on the 3rd one now), I missed the date for the assault. I pleaded with them, on phone, email... even said at one point, I can pay for it....sure you have a no show/cancelation.. No sir, sorry. that's it. Huh.. ok then. that sucked.
So, fast forward to 22. Made sure I did it. Glad I did. It snowed that day, so to be able to get some other raptor muddy, was priceless... and tons of fun. Was worth going.

Then I see this Rally thing.. 1st annual.. Is it worth going? Cost=$1000 incl. 1 passenger + $200 for each additional person.

So, lets go with the comments and thoughts on this.. oh yea, for 'stock' raptors only..(ranger/bronco raptors also) ----not that mine's modded, but, yeah, retail Assault course? has training, common area with sponsors, trail rides, jumping 'class', sand 'class'..

yeay or nay?

For $1,000 Ruth’s Chris would need to be catering for me to attend. I just don’t see the value at all, I paid $80,000+ for my Raptor and now I have to pay $1,000 to hangout with Ford sponsors for a day? Could have been great if cost of entry was simply owning a Raptor, or pay the $1,000 for non Raptor owners.

i dont see anything about the truck being stock.. it says you must be the titled owner of the raptor..

sounds like a decent event, but $1000, and 20hr 1 way drive is a turn off...

Yeah I didn’t see anything about stock either. Hence the question and comment. I can think of a few things I’d rather spend a grand (and more) on: gas, shocks, wrap, @Bozz discontinued rear bumper.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about experiences over material goods but this is ridiculous.

List your ideas for spending the cash instead.

Yea.. you're all right.. Friend of mine who I was talking to about this had said he looked at the terms as he has a G1 modified.. I thought I had read that too, and thought, that sucks.. It says " Stock vehicles are recommended for trail rides.." https://web.cvent.com/event/aec1dfa...0ee581b?i=QSacBWnIYkGUR0YM5z7BhQ&locale=en-US

So that's better than not.. but still..
