The way Whelchel took that corner was right as it was explained to me. The guy took a hammer and the head of the hammer is the engine block, so to change direction the handle (2 wheel drive tires) has to rotate to push the engine block ( hammer head) in a straight line to where you want to go. Kinda makes sense if you see it done.
