Nobody has any inside information, the R probably isn't even made of clay yet. I doubt Ford would make 2 tire options for the R , it should be a top tier Raptor edition only. But since we are all hoping for something spectacular, I vote 40" offroad rated tires only.

Read a article from motor 1 .com with spy shots. Not sure how accurate it is.

According to MotorTrend the R gets the 37's. Also mentioned a tricked out interior. Maybe Ford saved the Black recaros for the R. Lol.

Where does it say Raptor R on the truck??? Not saying it isn't but I wouldn't trust this source anyway, I will only believe what Ford displays, not "motor 1", whatever that is. Sounds like a cheap motor oil for a toyota, lol.

It's all speculation. Some say that the exhaust is different, but I couldn't tell them apart. All other alleged sightings rely on "the V8 sound", which is tough to discern via an Instagram clip.

Absolutely nothing concrete is known about the R beyond that Ford said it will exist at some point, and will have a V8.

Yes, you are correct and they lied to everybody back in 2009 when they said they would produce the Raptor R back then and didn't. Just for shit and giggles, back in 2009 Ford said the Raptor R would be about $100,000.00 and I paid $58,000 for my loaded 2010 6.2L, so it makes me curious what they will charge for a Raptor R this time around if they build it. Going to be well over $150,000.

I know the revised xt cams could be bought. Pistons had to have valve reliefs machined on top and variable timing had to be locked. Were not big sellers because of the work that had to be done. I don't think demand was high enough and not street legal caused its failure.
