Gents,

So I've ordered a 14 Raptor Screw fully loaded but my family and some friends are telling me I should get a 14 Platinum instead since its more luxurious etc. I'm a sales guy and I use this for a business vehicle so I'm kind of torn which way do I go. This will probably be my only chance to get a Raptor since I'm getting it for 59K OTD here in Canada. I look forward to your comments..

You definitely asked that question at the wrong place.

I had always been a luxury guy too... until I got my Raptor.

Its both luxury and bad ass!

The Raptor would definitely be a bigger eye catcher and more effective from a sales standpoint in my opinion. More exciting than a Platinum... But I guess it depends on which image you are trying to convey when using your vehicle for sales...

If you have to ask AND if you don't even bring up off roading then the answer is obvious...

No one ever says "Oh, you own a Platinum?"
If you buy one you just own another F150. The Raptor is a Purpose built vehicle that you can DD and have fun in.
Also, it's not like the Raptor isn't nice inside.

Everytime I come out of a business meeting, all my client say - "Is that your truck? I was going to buy one, but I decided on just a regular F150..." That is when I smile and hop in the truck and drive away. You will always regret missing out on owning a Raptor. But feel free to join the ever growing crowd of people who say - I was going to buy one, but...

The Raptor will make you smile as you drive, the Platinum wont. Pretty simple in my book

*Disclaimer - I think the Platinum is an overpriced, over binged out *************. If I wanted that much chrome, I would have bought a delorean

When I was looking at the Raptor, the only other alternative for me was the Platinum. I never go off roading besides Iowa snow on the roads. I bought the Raptor and I have not wished I'd bought the Platinum once. 6.2L of pure FUN. The interior of my Raptor is just as nice as my 2009 Lariat.
