Raptor off the line acceleration

My slow old dog makes just shy of 70% more power than your Ecoboom (that’s what they are known as in the F150 world because they blow up a lot, and this is already translating over to the Raptor world since you basically have a base Taurus / F150 motor with a hot tune).

That is a MASSIVE power difference given that my truck weighs maybe 10% more than yours.

I know all you little fan boys thought you were getting a Le Mans motor. But you didn’t.

Lets not forget that some of these mid sized crossovers can be pushing just under 300hp. factor in the lightness of them and some of them can scoot. I also have a 17 caravan gt I drive for work/family errand things and I think it has 260hp, that thing will get to gettin faster than you think it will.

My sis has a equinox with a 2.0 turbo with 252/260 and it’s actually surprisingly quick with the AWD

This was my first ever launch, about 5.2 seconds 0-60. Sport mode + 4A does the trick.

Pedal Commander does not in any way shape or form make your truck faster. Only thing it’s awsome at is making your wallet lighter.

Maybe you have a tune and thats why your hating?

Thread is about off the line acceleration and the PC would have definitely helped him get more throttle quicker without all that lag.
He was in comfort/eco mode. I hated the drivability in that mode.
I am loving my PC for now until i can afford a tune .
Of course its not making any extra horsepower obviously but my Raptor is so much more fun to drive and being able to adjust it to my driving style is awesome!
The cost did not seem to hurt my wallet much and considering my hood stickers cost 900$ The PC is a steal! Raptor IS Faster now FTW

Gotta love a sucka for the placebo effect. Only thing a PC does is open the throttle body at a faster rate then your lazy right foot.

I can tell you for a FACT that your Raptor, or any vehicle, is NOT faster or more powerful with a pedal commander installed. Do you even understand how it works? Likely not because you "believe" it does something to improve performance. I can do the same thing it does by switching to "Sport" mode, or adjusting the PPS output scale in the ECU with HPTuners software. The PC exists because the large majority of the earth's population truly have no real knowledge of "how things work", so they can't make logically informed decisions about any product with scam advertising. The PC is a gimmick device that actually has some functionality that leads the ignorant consumer into the advertising hype. Similar to the huge variety of "products" on the shelf that can do anything from repairing blown head gaskets to rebuilding your engine while its running. Bless your heart...
