Ok, guys, you wanted updates!
Ruby Red Metallic has 52,800 miles, with all leather and other fine options inside the cab. I believe it may have the 802a option and a push start ignition. I didn't realize the super cabs didn't have the sunroof (new guy here) so that test was out of the way.
Other truck was a black 2018 with sporty cloth seats and actually had a key to start. It was definitely toned down on the interior but I didn't mind much. This one had 38K miles.
Both ran great, tight and smooth. Tranny's shifted good and no abnormal noises. Engine bays looked good and heard both on cold startup with no clacking at first startup. I did drive a 2019 four-door just to get it out of my system but it had some issues, and to be honest, I don't need the two extra doors.
So decisions ...
The Ruby Red Metallic needs the trim cleaned up in a few places as it has leftover wax in a few spots that wasn't cleaned off. Also, the Raptor decals on the back fenders either looked a little faded up close or maybe there was some wax in those too. Do you guys have a recommendation on what to put on those decals to darken them up? Or to even get the wax off the trim?
The Black one looked great too and didn't have those Raptor decals on the back fenders which is quite alright with me (no advertisement). The previous owner put that red striping tape which would be ripped off immediately, but the truck is BLACK! As much as I know it would look pretty nice all polished up, I know it can be a pain since it shows so much. I've had a black car before.
This is where I'm at now. The black truck is 1k less than the Red truck in price and has about 14k fewer miles without the leather and again, it's black lol. Guy with the Ruby red may come down 1k to match the other one, but I imagine the dealer that has the black one may come down a little too.
There is definitely not as many super cab models out there as the other ones. I would really like a white one or that lighter gray but I'll take what I can for now.
Decisions, decisions.....
