Just curious, what's the deal with this concept of mud flaps are for mall crawlers? Aren't folks who actually get off road more inclined to get some? The logic in this thread seems backwards to me, but ok.

I don't care for the Gatorback "Raptor" one's that much, but the RockBlokz are nice, have the fronts installed.

I used to have the Vortex mud flaps but I kept breaking them when off-roading. I switched to the PDP ones and they held up. But when I went to 37’s, I needed as much clearance as possible and took them off. Truck looks better without mudflaps on both the GEN1 and GEN2.

I do have the ICON mid flap to help protect the rear. You can see it in this picture



But they are pretty useless at 110mph, barely see them. The wind pretty much pushed them out of the way. And you cannot drive with them on the highway as the metal bar hits the underside and makes a racket of a noise.

I’ve got the Gatorbacks front and rear. They work great for keeping mud off the handles, quarter panels and off of the running boards. I like the look.

The front ones have worked well enough off-road.

The rear are a disaster for me. They keep getting torn off or cut off when backing over sharp ledges.

The rear flaps hang down low enough that they get pinched between the ledge and the tire.

I’ve had two of them actually cut off about halfway and have had two ripped out of the fenders.

Smart truck sends me replacements but I’m looking for something more durable for the rear.

I’m running three flaps now...one of the rears is somewhere in the desert

IDK I feel like flaps hold a place in my heart during world disasters. After I installed the husky flaps on the rap it reminded me of how much I loved the look of the optional flaps on my 99 Tacoma during Y2K.
