Okay so let me start with facts:
2025 orders are hitting the dealer lots
In Houston today there are 129 20242025’s on lots on cargurus.
I know of 4 dealers willing to sell 801a/802a for MSRP, no dealer adds BS.
2 other’s I contacted above MSRP, they cite Market Pricing, typically you see “No Price Listed”
I have a 2025 801a on order for MSRP, tried to get x plan pricing, no dice.
I won’t buy one without looking at it, the seat quality varies from one to the next, in the 10 or so I looked at.

Question is do you think the market is softening up?

Depending on location. California is still asking over msrp. I know some states are offering at msrp. If you get left over 24 models, you might be able to get it at invoice.

Yeah its very location dependent as far as prices. That's a lot of Raptors on dealer lots, but there are a TON of raptors and people wanting raptors in Houston. I see them literally everywhere all the time. They can probably ask MSRP or just under and still sell the trucks. It has definitely softened in the used market. People saying they got a truck at invoice in Houston either have the best negotiation skills on the planet, are best friends with the sales manager, or found a dealer who thinks a raptor is just a Lariat with bigger tires....who knows. Its not even like the raptor can have weird feature and color combos that would make them unsellable, they are basically all the same other than color. Its certainly a different situation than a couple years ago, and we've all seen what has happened to the Bronco market.

Are these dealers flat out not negotiating below MSRP?

Yea I don’t know a way to measure “a lot of people want raptors” other than what is sitting on dealer lots and how long they sit there. I guess we will see how long they sit.
Already seeing 2024 R’s dropping from $140k to $130’s. So time will tell
