Does anyone know if the length of a Raptor SCREW is identical to a standard F-150 SCREW with the short bed? I test drove an F-150 in that config to ensure it would fit in my garage (which it did, but just barely).

Also, how much higher does the Raptor sit than a normal 4x4 F-150?

Thanks!

I just checked the esourcebook this morning for dimensions and there still isn't anything posted. Must have gotten lost with the engine specs.

They show top speed and 1/4 mile times. I'm assuming the 1/4 mile times are estimated at this point. 14.0 is pretty impressive for a stock truck that size.

None of that stuff should be "what we know so far". They have the truck, and I assume a tape measure at the shop.

Unless they're bound by a contract to not do performance testing, they may just be feeding weights and power levels into a calculator.

I wasn't questioning the measurements if that's what you were saying. If engine specs haven't been "officially" released I'd be surprised if they were aloud to do performance testing and release the results. I was assuming the 1/4 times were estimated because of the 14.0 - 14.2 range instead of a single number.

No, not you--on their site they said 'what we know so far'.

And--5700lbs @450hp was something like 13.8x if you go by a raw calculator, but a more realistic weight is probably 6k with driver and gas . . . and a squishy suspension will slow it down further.

Gotcha. wasn't quite sure what you meant.

Be interesting to see the actual 1/4 mile times. I'm not a drag racer. Will the big torque # help the truck get off the line faster?
