Everybody is looking at the truck wrong, you say it's a 6,000 lb truck with offroad suspension and all terrains so it's slow, the thing is, despite all that, it's a fast truck, something went very right in the raptors design for it to be so geared towards offroad performance and it's still an amazing street truck at the same time

We had a guy in an older short bed chevy reving at us at a red light. We ended up running pretty much block to block off the red lights, killing him...we were laughing, him and his passanger were laughing, it was a good time.

I got a real kill had a friend in his lifted cummins take the race any where I pic challenge. So we lined up on the beach. He snapped the bolts hold his tool box in the first 30 second trying to catch me I turned around after 2 min because I could not see him. After that he refused to ride in the truck as he would want one to bad.

As soon as I reading the OP, I knew it would not be long before the "Raptor Purists" chimed in with the usual "it is a sin to even touch paved roads with a raptor" or whatever they are saying now....

Because all Raptor owner live in the south western part of the US.... Right.

Anyway, I love 'accelerating agressively' (staying PC here, certain buzzwords make people va-jay-jays hurt)

I love feeling the raw unapologetic 411hp of the American 379ci big block. ::Tim Allen grunt::

I depise kids in Dodge trucks! I hate the faggoty flatbilled hats, I hate the giant "C" on the back window. I loathe those stupid ass tow mirrors flipped out with no trailers.... I hate when I see these 'Hurley-Cowboy' types driving Flatbed diesels with Trash-can-sized stack(s) or tips the size of a coffee cans.

And my favorite is the sneaky ones that play it all cool at the red light then cover my truck in black smoke when the green light hits. WTF!?!?!?

And sometimes I can help but give them an example of why they wasted mommy and daddy's money.

Funny to see my thread come back to life. I love my truck in more ways than I can describe. I was saying to another driver/owner at the GLRE Spring 13 that every time we takes these trucks off road, we are impressed at how capable they are.

But, that is few and far between for me. I drive 56 miles each way to work, mostly on the highway. Since I got a new exhaust, my mileage has dropped 'cause I love the roar this 6.2 puts out. People notice the Raptor, but that can't help but stare when I get on it. I drive real hard past the group last weekend and made comment later that I hoped the video got the exhaust note on it. Someone said it sounded like a Trophy Truck. That cinched it for me. I was thinking it was too loud, now I know I'm keeping it.

The truck is awesome all around. Is it an M3? No, but it's fun as hell, turns heads, and apparently in some parts of the country can get you a ***** flash!

Got two kills today, they got alittle too cocky and thought they were quick enough to get by me. Not so both of them squirrels though 2 differant times. When will they learn!
