Raptor for SEMA

I have a question, whats the reasoning for this piece being bolted onto the plate instead of welding it on?

Also maybe to let those who choose to install it themselves some room for adjustment???

Saw the Raptor in person today.

Holy crap, I'm jealous. My wife loved it too, which is saying a lot for the truck. I wish I could see it when it's done, wow.

I saw it on Friday at ADD and they definately have some crazy stuff going on with it.....they're hard at work on it though. And I must say, the interior is something else in person....there's alot of work done in there.
