DD here too since January 2011. It helps when you deploy for 7 months out of the year... best gas mileage during that time. Other than that I would hate to own it and just have it sit for weekend boomings through the desert, too much fun and potential for that.

I would say it's my daily driver, but I ride my bike to work about 50% of the time. You'll be okay with using it as a daily driver. An awesome vehicle with an awesome ride.

I use mine every day, all day, at work.
I'm a pipeline construction supervisor, the raptor works great for my application.
I'm constantly going from one spot to another as quickly as possible, down twisty gravel lease roads and rough pipeline right of ways.
The truck pays for itself as I charge out for it on a monthly basis, all gas is provided, and all parts and services are 100% right offs at tax time.
Average 500 kms per day total, with about 100 kms of that being some crazy terrain 99% of raptors will never see.

Daily driver here. It's my work truck, I use it to commute, pick up parts, pull a trailer, etc. Love it!
