The bolts under sprung clamp broke off of Dan's rig. There didn't appear to be anymore damage than that.

Thinking about it further, I'm thinking that the four bolts may have backed out far enough to get them to break under stress. I only assume this because there were two on the other side that were backing out.

So checking those torque values after the first 100 miles is no joke!
