Ironically enough, my first car was a '69 Ford Falcon..paid 200 dollars for it and it was a death trap...bad brakes and no windshield wipers...in FL

My best (new) vehicle is a '10 Ford Raptor....paid 45000 for it and it's a death trap...mainly because I drive it like I stole it ;p

And since a Falcon = a bird of prey= Raptor.....is the Ford Raptor an updated Falcon?!?!:shock1::idk:

Nice LOL

The absolute pinnacle of Air Supremacy is the F22 RAPTOR.

This should be the end of the discussion.

In the process of getting the graphic that goes on the glass doors that are at all Program entrances. It should fit on the center or the back slider.

One is an evolution of the other

Most paleontologists now believe that birds evolved from dinosaurs, so both raptors are related. The dinosaur was probably a very fast and efficient predator. The birds are known for that, as well. I live on top of a mountain, and the raptors love to soar in the ridge lift, so I lean toward the avian raptor.

As I became interested in the Ford Raptor, thinking it was a take-off on the velocirator of Michael Creighton's Jurrasic Park, I went to googling velociraptor.
Found that the velocirator was about the size of a chicken, which hurt a little the image that I had of the raptor.
I was aware that a raptor is a bird of prey, my youthful fascination with dinosaurs had me reject my image of a Ford Raptor as a bird.
Further research led me to understand that the velociraptor of Jurrasic Park was physically the size of a deinonychus (Greek for "terrible claw), which was a most fierce predator of about 165lbs of the raptor family of dinosaurs.

For this reason, when wondering a good username I chose Deinonychus. I just couldn't imagine a chicken sized anything related to a truck.

^^ Glad you did your research first. Would have hated for you to buy a chicken truck. :)
