People may not realize that there are functional reasons Alcantara is used in race cars.
On the seat and steering wheel, it provides more grip than leather. And it doesn't get hot like leather.

1-The Group Buy will be extended from July 17 to August 2
This leads into the 2nd announcement


2- We have been finalizing a deal to make a number of CF Raptor steering wheels for a company.
The effect will be making more parts and spraying more wheels at a time, which allows us to reprice some of the wheels we were offering.

This will affect those who have already placed an order and those that order going forward.

And we’re dropping the tiered pricing and offering just the lowest price we can.

These are factory original Raptor steering wheels (not overseas clones).

All of our products are made at our Los Angeles facility.

We welcome enthusiasts who want the best for their Raptors or other vehicles.

Hexel carbon fiber – the same fiber we used to produce parts for Tesla Motors. A perfect match to the Ford CF.

Pro-Set epoxy system - official epoxy used in the construction of ‘American Magic’ racing yacht, for the America’s Cup 2021

BASF finishing system – used throughout the industry by luxe manufacturers

Some people are sending in their wheels, some are having us purchase new wheels and we can exchange with one of ours.

Some updates to Rau CF GB

​

We are surprised at the interest in our custom Blue Fiber steering wheel option, even extending to Gen 1 members. It's a great match to ford blues, and as mention, we developed the color/process and presented to Ford Performance.
On the other hand, we had hoped for some interest in matte carbon fiber - still...

We want to add a little twist to this group buy.

To make the blue fiber option a bit more interesting, we are offering to make a round top/flat bottom Raptor steering wheel in blue fiber, at a special price.
With factory leather = 1550 and 1750 with Alcantara
And to complete the transformation, the interior trim could/should be added. A true One-Off!


You need to use a little imagination for the bottom blue fiber. Photoshop time is booked...





For those who can't send in a wheel, we have more new cores in this week. Also machining more parts for all of the combinations.

Reminder

Round and Flat style steering wheels in 1-piece and 2-piece CF.
1-piece can retain the factory heated leather.
