Hello again. I appreciate all your responses, even the negative ones. My partner and I have the capability to make parts large and small in carbon fiber, so I have been researching possibilities. Be advised there are several grades of carbon fiber product, to be used according to stress, shock and finish level application parameters. So far the truck frame idea has gotten a lukewarm reception here and elsewhere, but we do have traction in a very different automobile related area. We will focus on that project. However, as much CAD work has already been done on a Raptor CF frame, if we decide to produce some frames, maybe 20-50 frames for high-end racer customers, I will return here with details of that plan. Thanks for your attention and patience and have a healthy and fun 2020. Keep on truckin'!
First thanks for pioneering this, it will only make our trucks better long run. Question: Can you make a carbon fiber panel that could replace the sunroof? That I think would get a lot of love, especially with the warranty’s starting to expire and it costing $4000 to repair out of pocket. Also would reduce weight up high and probably a decent amount. Thanks in advance!

Ah, that’s where for pennies a day Geico’s MBI comes in. Coverage for anything but wear items 100k miles or 7 years, whichever comes first, $250 deductible each occurrence. Best deal around. Have it and have used it many times over past 20+ years.

Re CF sunroof panel replacement I don't know the Raptor well enough. Are we talking about a simple removable panel or something more involved?

I bolt-in or glue-in panel that will complete/seal the hole when the sunroof assembly is removed from the truck completely.

I also think that you'd have some takers if you designed a panel that would simply replace the glass and retain the sunroof opening mechanism.
