How will a bumper like the WSI shown above, Saints Bravo bumper or ADD stealth bumper hold up to hitting a deer and protecting the truck? I live in the boonies and see 5-20 deer every morning on the way to work, and frequently have to dodge them. I want something that will protect but don't want a cattle/ranch guard.

Its hard to tell. the bumpers arent made for deer as much as approach angle. I am confident to hit one since they are all over where i live too. constantly in our yard. Probably would push the deer under the truck.

I'm assuming it would hold up better than an impact with the stock bumper. I'd like to hope it would offer some protection, and like you said push it under the truck versus into the front end.

Yesterday morning I had 4 deer laying in my front yard. I backed out and they just watched me drive off. Lazy deer :mad3::mad3:

Oh without a doubt! the stock bumper is just thin metal and is flush with the front of the truck. the aftermarket bumpers are thick tubing with reenforced skid plates and stick out a few inches to give that extra protection from an impact with a deer.
