Question for those that have gone.

I'm thinking about going now, either this fall or in the spring.

Where do people typically stay? I'm assuming you fly into salt lake city? Then do you stay around there, or out by park city? Then just uber/taxi to the site?

Also, is it all day on the driving day? Like would I fly back out in the evening, or fly out the next morning?

I wonder if they will extend the one year due to the COVID ?

I was scheduled for mid May and now I'm stuck outside the US until things open up again. When I cancelled I asked if there were going to be extensions due to Covid and the girl I was emailing with said "We can maybe extend you a month".

Go to the Raptor Assault website and check out the FAQ's. They recommend not using Uber, rent a car instead. There's a discount code for a hotel if I remember right. There's also a driving day schedule in there that will help with your planning.

rent a car. Stay in park city. Make a weekend out of it.

can leave the night of the course if you can get a flight after 7:30 or so.

I’m originally from Utah and I love Park City but staying in Salt Lake would cut at least 30-40 min off of your drive out to the facility in Tooele (Too-ill-uh) if it makes any difference. I may be somewhat bias but either way, Salt Lake or Park City, you cant go wrong. And i would also recommend renting a car.

Going the end of July. However they decide to run it. Dinner with the group and two in the truck is fine with me. I am not going to live my life in fear. This whole pandemic is the craziest thing I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Driving out the evening on the 27th. RA is July 29-30. Then I am doing the 3 day SLC to Carson City run the next day. Then go see Yosemite for 2 days and then to the 3 day Wyoming trail run that weekend then drive home to Missouri.
