RAM Rebel TRX 575hp Hemi…Worth the wait?

Things I gathered from this thread so far

-Rebel TRX is scary!
-Because its scary we must call it a Fiat, mention reliability issues, say it'll never be produced, say it won't be as cool as GODRaptorJennifer, and generally put the idea down
-We must all make sure to be really pissed about any competition brought by any manufacturer
-HKguns is apparently only able to post one picture to the forum; the ass end of a truck that's not his
-Shelby F150s are a thing. An expensive thing, and also a thing without Raptor things on them
-Oh and last but not least I learned that Ford originated the red wheel stripe and that Dodge is copying it. I bet the people that think that have no idea why its there...

Dodge would be insane not to release this truck. Keep the factory 37's, Kings and 575hp v8. That rear 5-link suspension has so much potential it's not even funny.

Obviously concept truck shit like bed racks and 5pt harnesses won't stay but if they keep the core of this truck they've got a winner and I'll order the hell out of one.

i much welcome competition, especially in this segment. i love the raptor, but i hate that it does not have direct competition and people are paying way too much for an f-150 package. anything that chevy, dodge, nissan, toyota, etc. does to create competition is a good thing, regardless of whether you would ever consider buying the competition or not.

I would strongly consider getting one if it ever got built. Unless it is a fraction of what the concept is.

Not to rain on anybody's party but with the price they are most likely going to charge (given its even built..) why not find a gen1 Raptor and supercharge it and add 3.0s if you really think you need them.

For most and including myself, this is way to much truck for the typical driver in an off road setting... so I highly doubt they release anything close to the concept. They have been killing sales with the challenger/charger line. IMHO I just don't see anything close to the concept. Hope I'm wrong...

Another option could be the Shelby F150. I found a new one for $59k and had the 750hp package. This seems like a better deal.

MY exact thoughts. The f150 Shelby looks, I just saw one last week, still looks like a done over f150 with body kit and stickers. Did not see any serious suspension mods to support it.
