Another option could be the Shelby F150. I found a new one for $59k and had the 750hp package. This seems like a better deal.

It'll come with everything you see, except for everything.

A total of 6 37 inch wheels and tires, race harnesses, factory bed cage?

You would be begging to buy a raptor with a 30k markup vs. what they would charge for the TRX.

Obviously, the items that you mentioned are the sort of thing that would disappear between the concept and production stages, but the vehicle its self is plausible, IMO... they'd actually be turning the power down considerably, the transmission is already proven to hold up to the higher power number (though in lighter vehicles, thus the likely reason for the power decrease). The only (driveline) questions left are the transfer case and the axles.

I really think that it's entirely possible.

Bring your Shelby F150 over to South Carolina sometime and we can see how good it does in our sand and mud, and fields! Have 10,000 acres of farmland at my access that we can try all that power, and the long travel shocks, and all of the skid plates out, and then we can do the river run where we can see how it does on rocks and how deep it will go in water! God I like the "Raptor " forum site!

You could have 1000hp in one of those but it still wont outperform a Raptor offroad.

yeah i've seen a few of those and they are still sitting on the lots after months and months. way overpriced, giant jacked up pigs with a lot of HP that's about it.

huge aftermarket modifications are a waste of money. you pay for the truck, then you pay for the add-on package. i always wondered what they do with all the crap they rip off and replace that you PAID for but is essentially junk yard material at that point.

I would actually take a Power Wagon rather then a Rebel. Certainly the concept will never be made, just like the Nissan Titan Warrior. That being said a spent 6 months considering the Power Wagon. Unfortunately the reliability, particularly of the 2500 line the Power Wagon is based in is shocking, nearly into Yugo territory. This is old school US car maker building. I have over 200K on my current Titan with no major issues. I could not imagine a transmission every 10-15K and working on a brand new truck every weekend to keep it on the road. The Power Wagon forums will make your blood run cold. Add to that extremely slow with shocking fuel mileage and no technology other then the obvious 4x4 items(which are amazing)....and its really hard to justify. New styling of grill and colors, with less of the Mexican Drug Lord paint schemes is a step in the right direction though.
