Race Radio install in center console front storage tray with cover still operational

Not sure yet on the difference it makes. It’s for my brothers truck and he was in town for Christmas so installed before he goes back to work. A few guys on his crew run the same one and swear by it so hopefully it works out well for him. We used the weBoost Drive Reach Fleet (470254) Cell Phone Signal Booster

Seller of Weboost Drive booster says professional installation necessary. Why? For integration after installation perhaps?
It's pricey but then what isn't these days.

Bought my kit from @jwpres , installed via good instructions given, bout the "Way Further" antennae from Rugged Radios, buttoned her up yesterday.
Now to better program my RM60 with some VHF Ham frequencies and I'll be happy as can be.
I'll post pictures later.

I would suggest PM the fabricator @jwpres , he is in Arizona and does a great job.
