I love the Gen 2 Raptor but can’t stand the exhaust note (interior piped sound is turned off). Has anyone tried to mute the exhaust as much as possible without sacrificing performance? I’m not impressed with any of the hundreds of videos I’ve watched with aftermarket exhausts. Any help would be appreciated.

This makes a lot of sense. I would want to do the same, would be cool to have no noise instead of what it is. Good luck in your quest.

Those tips you mentioned are 2.25" at the inlet, though?
The Gen 2 factory tip is welded onto a straight section of 3" O.D. tubing. I found some 3" straight thru short mufflers to weld on, basically in place of the megaphone tips. I should clarify, I clamped the mufflers onto the tubing and welded the old hangers onto the new mufflers.

The mufflers are 4" O.D. at the body (larger part), I will probably get some 4" tubing and do a simple angle cut and sleeve it over the muffler for appearance sake. Though really, it doesn't bother me that much. The sound difference is amazing. I had someone floor it while I was outside, all you really hear is air moving and a little exhaust sound and obligatory back fire. It sounds louder in the cab. I do have the fake noise turned off.
