Increases spring preload which can give the perception of a firmer, faster responding suspension feel. It can help to pop the front end up faster which in aggressive driving situations or hard braking situations can give the perception of better control.

Raises the front end enough to help keep the skid plate out of the dirt.

"Supposedly" the Fox shocks were tested and tuned at middle perch and as such the best ride characteristics can be had at middle perch when it comes to the way the triple bypass Fox shocks work over rough stuff at speed.

Less chance of stuffing your tire in to the wheel well or fender flare, and since the 17" / 0mm offset Method wheels are by far the most popular Raptor wheels, this is important.

It looks better (the main reason most do it, but justify with the anecdotal reasons above).

Lol he meant NOSE dive

I see.. So is nose dive sort of like a design flaw or something? I am sorry, my question is kind of stupid, but I just want to get it understand!

I see! Thanks for your help out here! So does mid perch set up change the height of the truck? I can barely fit my truck in the garage right now...
and does this set up increase or decrease or no effect at all on the fuel economy?
Thanks,
Oscar

no, go take a ride in your raptor and get on the brakes hard and u will see what we mean. what Birdman said is totally correct and good info. if u search aroung the site a bit u will see many perch topics and many people saying how much they love the mid perch over others

Thanks! I really appreciate your help! i will test it later tonight so nobody will find out what I am doing, LOL! Like Birdman said, SVT tested our trucks on the mid perch setting, but why does Ford sell the Raptors in the low/bottom perch?? I am just curious.
