Question for guys that did the BD S2 reverse lights?

How long was the harness you used to go from the lights in the rear to the firewall?

I want to say mine was like 12 feet or just longer than the entire length of the truck

I just went with 15 ft so I would have plenty of slack to route the wire anywhere I wanted. I came up the driver side following the brake lines mostly, routed over to the passenger side behind the firewall insulation to the up-fitter switch wire. I use a switch to activate them rather than the reverse lights. They are too bright to use in "normal" situations. I like to have them on when blasting around at night, so I can see all around the truck...

Our harness also incorporates a splitter, to connect the left/right lights (less connections for you).

We give you about 17' from the engine bay to the rear lights. This gives you enough slack to route your wires wherever you need to.

That's what I used. My harness was plug and play for the reverse lights and upfitters. I had to do the tap in the tail light and then just cut off the excess once I was ready to connect to the upfitter switch wire in the engine compartment. I ran my harness inside the frame along the passenger side, without issues.

I used harness included from fordraptorlights.com
and wrapped in plastic braided line from amazon.

I used the BD 10 foot extension. Part number 640165 to run off the upfitter. I didn’t think it would make it but it did with a little slack to spare. I also used chassis clips to attach the wire along the frame rail. Came out pretty clean.

We make a harness that is an all-in-one harness from the upfitter to the rear (where you'd plug in the Baja rear upfitter connector). We also integrated the splitter into our harness so both lights plug into our harness. No need for additional harnesses/etc..
