Question about Ford rebranded Retrax tonneau cover

Any chance you have the model number or manual of your cover? I had my dealer order and install the Ford branded retrax pro Xr (embark ls in Ford termoniology) on day 1.

dealing with some issues with it, and starting to question if it’s even the correct cover.
the fit just doesnot seem correct …almost like it’s too short.

Not sure where the model number would be. It looks just like the Retrax, except it has a small ford badge on it by the tailgate, rather than retrax branding. If it doesn't fit right, I would take it back in. These things are all made standard for 5.5 foot beds. If it seems too short, it was likely not installed properly.

I don't know if it is better quality or not, but Rollnlock does not have the T-slots for a rack, compared to the RetraxPro. Also, Rollnlock product info says it locks in three positions, not any position you seem to want.

I think this is what you’re looking for. I ordered the same cover through the dealer. It’s now sitting in a closet at the dealership waiting for my truck to arrive.

I think this is what you’re looking for. I ordered the same cover through the dealer. It’s now sitting in a closet at the dealership waiting for my truck to arrive.

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to find if the actual cover itself has a model # anywhere on it. I couldn’t seem to find one.

Like you I ordered the cover from my dealer and had it put on prior to taking delivery. Morning after getting the truck home cover was very hard to open. When inspecting I found missing parts, clamps in wrong location etc etc. But the biggest concern was it seemed too short length wise.

New/separate thread coming on this…

Fits my 21 bed perfectly. What makes you think it doesn’t fit perfectly on 2021?

Can you not show a picture of your cover? Mine works flawlessly and closes all the way.

mine was installed at ford, not the dealer. The manual was under the rear seat.

Could you take a picture of the front cover of the manual ? It should list/show the year range and model number.

No firsthand knowledge yet. I haven’t even seen my truck. I’m just going by the video I posted up at 25.
