You're not suppose to wash the windows with a wire brush!This is gonna sound stupid, but check the rear window defogger. No one, I repeat, No one ever checks it.
Guess what! Mine was trashed. The conductive material was scratched off on at least 5 of the lines.
No I have to convince Ford that I didn't do it. The lines look like they're there, but there's no conductive material on them.

The lot kid probably did it with the back of a brush or some stupid sh-t. I would still try to get it repaired/replaced, otherwise its one of those things that might bug you to an early grave.Tell that to the person who did it.
I've had the truck for 6 weeks and this was hidden by the rear headrest.
Might just live with it since my rear window doesn't leak and don't want the dealer messing with it.
