Just had one of my Gorilla lug nuts break when I was trying to remove it. I have the locking type with the factory type bevel. Shit. They were tight as hell after rotation at the tire store and I put a pipe on a breaker bar to get it loose. Now I have a problem to deal with. Anyway, I like the look of these lugs and had to replace the factory lugs due to impact wrenches at tire store not getting along well with factory, two part nuts. I just can't advocate for them anymore after having one break.

Does anyone run black lug nuts on their ride? I’m looking for a set of black lug nuts that are very resistant to fading, chipping, rusting, etc. I run aftermarket wheels so they would have to be the spline type. Your help is much appreciated!

Merry Christmas! I’m using gorilla black Lugnuts, they also make a sleeve that fits over the Lugnuts so that when you remove/install them it doesn’t scratch or nick them at all. The sleeves are only seven bucks and worth every penny. The sleeves also fit into your socket tool as well.

Link to the sleeve?
