Thanks for the link! I have read that some people are getting a little better mpg's with the full synthetic. I have also read different views on when you should do your first oil change… What is your take on these topics and should I wait a specific amount of miles before switching to full synthetic??

There are a lot of opinions on when to make the switch it seems everyone has there own preference. But, we switched over with our first oil change. Here's a link discussing it http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f7/no-synthetic-until-15k-miles-why-3827/

Your over all mpg gain is minimal but the long range improvement in performance makes it worth it.

Welcome. Drive it like you stole it. No cruise control for the first 1000 miles. Use any synthetic oil you like. Nothing heavier than 30w. Use 20w if u can find it.
