Damn I need to win the lotto..

You only need to win a scratcher with our cages, not the powerball. We try to keep them affordable:big_banana_Dance:

Sean is doing an amazing job with this one. The cool thing is we have another truck coming in two weeks that is getting the exact same thing so he is building duplicates of everything. It will be sick when it's all done.

On a side note, lower links showed up from laser cut today so I will be able to get those pics up tomorrow or the next day. The build will rival and dare I say surpass any that has been done before. The owner is hell bent on it being the creme' de la creme'

Thanks Keaton,

Our lead fab guy Paul is in charge of those pretty welds. He was tutored by who I would consider one of the best in the business Jamie Campbell of Raceco USA. I for one have always like going back into the shop to weld stuff up as a form of stress relief from the day to day grind of ownership duties at RPG. Since Paul came on board he has mentored me and showed me the ropes for different techniques depending on the situation. It's really cool to see the progress even I have made because of him. We have a great crew at RPG right now. Everyone knows their role and picks each other up if needed.

And as always, stay tuned for what might just being coming around the corner to elevate the Raptor even further. We have an idea that I think will make everyone smile (providing it works).

Thanks for the kind words.

Jarrett

did you guys break into my private messages and see what I discussed with AII? :challenge:

Nah, they don't give me that kind of power around here. And to answer your other question, I will let you guys decided if it stacks up to LPR. One thing I can promise you is this. If it comes in second, it will be a very close second.

Just wait till the second truck comes in a few weeks. The owner of that truck (who I am not at liberty to say) has requested items that haven't been on any Raptor yet. If it doesn't raise the bar, I don't know what will.

Got the A pillars and B pillars done. The B's should fit perfectly behind the factory paneling.

I've got a couple of ?'s I was hoping you could help me out with, what was the reasoning in keeping the support on the roof and not cutting it out and tucking the cage another 1" higher?
Also, why the bend in the a pillar tube?

Brian,

We are keeping the sunroof so that is all we can get out of it. Once the headliner is in, He should only loose about 1" of headroom from stock. Still going to be a truck he drives in everyday so we didn't want to ditch any of the creature comforts.

The reason for the radius in the A-Pillar tube is so we can rotate it and tuck it out of the drivers blind spot as much as possible. The notch on the upper section of that thing is a bitch. I can't tell you how many tubes have been scrapped trying to get those things right. If you ever stop by the shop I will let you sit in my truck so you can see how effective it is doing it that way.

I also don't mind saying how much a cage is publicly. Depending on the customers needs and how complex they want seating configuration, tool chests, icebox or what ever they can range from 7K minus interior to 15K depending on how crazy they want interior upholstery to be. For example, a cage like mine that runs stocks seats and stubs through the rear with an alcantara headliner and all chromo tubing, 10K would be about where it ends up plus or minus a few bucks.
