The trucks are still in progress. There has been a few changes around the shop so I haven't had time to update the thread. We should have some progress completed in the next week or so that is forum worthy that I can post.

Totally understandable to finish our bumpers first Corey! Hehe.......I can't wait to see more of this "linking" thread though! Keep up the great work.

Let me preface my statement by saying that I'm not trying to be a hater. :)

I'm sure this truck is going to be absolutely badass... it's definitely headed in that direction. I'm just trying to figure out why someone would use a Raptor for this project. It appears that nearly every part of the Raptor that has superiority over a standard F-150 part is being replaced in this truck.

I guess maybe the owner could have had intentions of keeping the Raptor stock and/or maybe the Hennesey setup wiped out his warranty and he just decided to go all in.

Regardless, it looks like it's gonna be a sweet ride and I look forward to seeing the rest of the build.

^^ Probably because you can make a lot of mods within the raptor footprint and still have a daily driver that appears some what stock. Clearly the new owner has enough resources to push beyond what is possible for me.

If you got the money and its not hurting anything. Why not do it. Better off road ability. A lot more travel then a stock raptor. Using a full size truck as a raptor to 4 link is just badass. Caging is obviously safer. Are you new to the dirt world?

Here's how I see it:

F150 is improved by Raptor parts/systems which is improved by better parts/systems.

Here's an analogy that might help:

4 linking a Raptor is like removing iron sights from an assault rifle and replacing them with a scope.
