Darin...do we have any insight into why Raptor scheduling is so slow ? We're hearing that 2017 F-150's are coming off the line every 3 minutes now. We're also told that Raptors are simply plug and play on that line, so in theory, they could be producing a Raptor every 3 minutes, though we know they won't do that.
If they chose to only make 1 Raptor in every 5 trucks, simply to address high priority customer pre-orders, we're looking at a Raptor produced every 15 minutes. That's 4 Raptors per hour, or across an 8 hour work day, 32 Raptors per day, 160 Raptors in a 5 day work week, 640 Raptors in a 4 week month.
1 Raptor in 10 trucks yields 2 Raptors per hour, 16 per day, 80 per week, 320 per month.
1 Raptor in 20 trucks yields 1 Raptor per hour, 8 per day, 40 per week, 160 per month.
Surely we can find someone who knows what their production rate is, even if it varies from week to week.
Respectfully,

Currently 5 Raptors are being built per hour.

Respectfully,

I don't have any insight as to why the scheduling is a little slow right now. But I'm sure the Raptors are just like every other model line when it comes to commodity restrictions. Ford knows going into the model year how many Raptors they are going to build. So for items that are the same on every truck such as say tires, they can order the production # X's 4 and have all of the tires to fill the build. But they can only forecast for other options such as say how many bead lock wheels vs standard wheels or crew cab vs scab frames and so on. Then they also run into issues with how quick each supplier can produce the quantity of items they need So part of the delay could be parts availability. For Job 1 they'll have a forecasted supply and will schedule all orders they can with Job 1 commodity supply. From there on it they start forecasting based on the orders that are coming in and order components accordingly.

I truly hope your right Zane, though can I ask where that data point comes from ?

5 Raptors per hour yields 40 per 8 hour day, 200 per 5 day work week, 800 per 4 week month.

Double those numbers if the plant runs two shifts (16 hours per day).

Triple those numbers if the plant runs three shifts (24 hours per day).

One can only hope.

Guy on Facebook (Jorge Urteaga) who works at DTP. He has been correct about all the info he has posted in the past.

DTP runs 24 hours a day.

You have to specifically ask for your order priority. Worked for me, just sayin'.

I asked her if there were any updates on my order and could you please tell me my priority code? And that's all she said...oh well, I'll try again next week...
