$30k over, wow. That's one of the highest I've heard to date.

I called all the ford dealers around town. Not one willing to deal at msrp. Everyone want 10k some even want 30k. anyone can help me to find a dealer that are not completely nut.

Sounds about right. When I was looking for my truck in early 2014, I went to Sterling McCall Ford on the Southwest Freeway. The salesman told me that he normally charges 15k over MSRP but would give me a "deal" at 10k over. Needless to say, I didn't go with them.

I bet they're charging at least 15k over MSRP for 2017's.

I ended up at $1,000.00 over invoice. Got my DORA last week to confirm it. Can't disclose dealer as it was part of our deal not to.

Nice deal, doubt they can do much if you disclose the dealer, but I get it, I wouldn't go against my word either.

Can you white out dealer, order#, address, and your personal information and post the DORA, as my dealer claims no one has gotten one yet and that he can't get one for my order...

you are correct they charge 15k over and 10k down to order. The sales I talked to said they are people lining up to give them money. So the dealership is not going to have any discount what so ever on it.

Right. I thought I must have misheard or something. I confirmed with him. Autonation ford on Katy highway want 30k over msrp. I felt like all these dealers are too just too greedy. Anybody knew any dealer in Texas that are willing to msrp or close at least

I have a long standing relationship with the dealer. Don't want to screw it up.

Exactly. Someone's going to pay a premium to be one of the first owners. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of excess cash laying around that I can burn.

I'm all for a free market but when a dealership acts as if they're giving me a deal at 10k over when I found out of state dealerships selling for under MSRP, I would never shop at or recommend that particular local dealership to anyone for anything. I'm happy to drop a few hundy to fly somewhere to pick up my truck to avoid any ADM.
