Thanks, everyone! I’ll see what they say, but unless they really make a sweet deal, your reasons are all solid for a new raptor. I’ll let you all know what happens.

Hey all, I’ve been looking for a raptor for a while and found this forum.
I’ve been reading lots of threads and trying to get a feel for buying a 2018/19 used vs new. I came across a 2019 white w/topper, 33k miles, 802a and tech package, moonroof, tailgate step, and graphics package for 55k. They’ve had the truck for 80 days now and I know they want to move it. Not sure how much more they will go down. KBB trade in value is 55-59, so seems decent, but I’ve seen some new 2019s for 62-65k. That said, I’m not sure the extra 10k is worth it (and not sure my wife will go for it). Any thoughts on the price? New vs used? Thanks!!
I just bought a 2018 with highest option package with 32k miles for 55k from private owner. He threw in an extra set of tires brand new Siris for another year. So the 55k from dealer is in the ballpark. I'd ask to see all maintenance records. They will have them if vehicle was serviced by authorized ford shop. You want to know the prior owner was diligent. If they balk or the records do not show all routine maintenance as well as all factory issued recall/repairs done - walk away. There are numerous recalls but they are minor, don't be alarmed by the number. Also buy an extended warranty. I researched thoroughly and no one could beat Flood Ford's price.
I love my truck !!

So after a lot of back and forth, the dealer dropped the price and added a 6 year 100k extended warranty. They gave me a copy of all service on the vehicle and it was legitimate. In the end, it still saved me over 15k on a 2019 or 2020 new. Thanks for all the advice, and if it’s a problem child, it’s going right back to the dealer for a new one!

Got it for 51 plus warranty. They’re delivering it tomorrow. I’ll post pics!

Great deal! 51k for the truck PLUS the Cost of the extended warranty? Please remember to post a pic when you get it home.

Congrats. Good price.
I’ve seen ‘18 802a with less than 20k going for 52k around here. Things are getting tight, I think the prices will drop a fair amount more in the coming months.
