Based on everything we've been told on this forum and others, Dealerships can't assign Priorities lower than 10. 1-9 are reserved for Regional or Ford-approved special circumstances. That doesn't mean they can't generate an order form with a Priority 1 code, but if what we've been told is true, they can't actually enter it into the system as a Priority 1. That being said, I wish you luck in a speedy build and delivery.

Mine started as a priority 12. After getting assigned a VIN and build week, a day later my build week was moved up from an original 11/14 to now 10/31. One more day in time passed and I found out it got changed to a priority 01 and assigned a build DAY of 11/3.

My dealer said he didn't change the priority #.
I'm thanking the truck gods.

I think they only had 2. There was a guy with carbon fiber ahead of me in their orders and he got scheduled two weeks before I did. Now that my order got bumped I'm actually ahead of him.

My dealer got 3. They are one of the best dealers in the NW. I didn't put any money down but they know me and they didn't ask. I'm 100% sure it says Pri01. Still don't know what that means. Have not got a VIN yet.

I also didn't put a deposit down. They didn't ask. I got nervous and worried the dealer might back out and try to sell it to some idiot willing to pay more than MSRP. He said no deposit was necessary because if for some reason I backed out they were pretty sure it wouldn't be an issue to sell it.

My dealer is positively awesome.
