Just to be clear. I won't be there this coming Saturday. My interest was for the 29th event.

Anything in particular I should bring? Tow straps to pull my ass out of the muck when I get stuck?? :)

Should have my Icom installed by than.

Lol, radios aren't needed for prairie city, other than for chatter on the way there, the prairie city SVRA isn't that large, but it's still fun, as for tow straps, I don't think you should need them, but you might want to bring them just in case

If you are going to be there in winter months you may want to have at least one truck with a tow strap or snatch strap. It gets very muddy at Prairie City and I have been there with snow falling.

When was that Andrew? it's been a few years since I've last seen snow up here, and that was at my house up the hill from prairie city, once I got down to the Folsom area it was all gone

Hard to say. Before the forum I went to Prairie City at least 8-10 times a year. I can tell you it's from when I bought the truck April 2011 till now.

Point being it's not a smart idea to go play in the mud without a tow strap.

I've got a 20' tow strap and four shorter straps to hold things down just in case...

Plus first aid, flashlights, meds and extra boots.
