Nothing normal about a loud snapping/breaking sound!

Well. I’ve heard of many with this same noise and similarly, no functional issues. I don’t suspect anything is breaking since my gate otherwise continues to function flawlessly. I’m not saying I’m good with it, simply pointing out that it’s either part of the design or extremely common. Whatever the case, I ain’t losing sleep over it.
