All you guys who think you dealer is your buddy and your getting $500 above invoice are in for a rude awakening for at least one year.I know you bought 5 trucks from him before, does not matter.

Don't you negative nannies ever sleep?

The dealers are also getting about 3% from Ford on the holdback.

I've already found a local dealer that said they will do 1% above invoice.
Others have posted similar results on the FB discussion group.

Where is this dealer?

Sent my local dealer an e-mail last night about ordering and how close they could get to invoice. Got a call and text back today and they said they would order one for me for $1000 over invoice + their standard $400 doc fee. I went in to talk to the sales guy after work and found out both the owner of the dealership and the GM both drive raptors. I'd like to see if they can do $1000 over including that doc fee and if they do I'm going to go back in and will be ordering tomorrow. Much easier to buy one from a dealer down the street vs saving maybe $500-1000 but having to travel / fly to get it (which is what I thought I'd have to do). Gas and missing a day of work will negate that savings.

I'm just a tad over $72K after tax and fees on mine optioned out which is about 4k more than I was expecting.
I'm definitely looking at 13 and 14 models to see what I can get into now as Thats as much as I paid for my V wagon.

So I added up everything that's in the Lux package that can be optioned from the Mid package. The total came to $4,203 (MSRP)

This means that the following adds up to $5,142 in options

*Advanced Security Pack (incl. SecuriLock® Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) and *Inclination / Intrusion Sensors
*Ambient Lighting
*Dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC)
*Memory System (Seat, Pedal, Exterior Mirror)
*Intelligent Access with push-button start
**Power-folding is the only differnence, Power Glass Sideview Mirrors with Heat, Turn Signal, Memory, *Auto-Dimming Feature (Driver's Side), High-Intensity LED Security Approach Lamps. *Body-color Skull Caps
*Power Tilt/Telescoping Steering Column with Memory
*Universal Garage Door Opener (UGDO)
*And the tail gate release with the remote start

Holy guacamole. These are are all (besides maybe the security stuff?) little annoying things that should be standard if not, have the ability to option in on the base model. I was leaning towards the Lux but idk now.. there is no way the extra stuff is worth $5,142 dollars.

I don't think you can get cooled seats as an option. Or did I miss that?

The only reason I'm going w/ lux is due to a/c seats. Ticks me off that its not an a stand alone option. Ford knew it would be the tipping point in many folks decision as to which pkg to go with.
