Interesting thoughts here… if it’s not an R, wonder if 2023 will be a base raptor with v6, and optional v8… kids like the start of the first gen raptor with base 5.4, and optional 6.2? Or, the v6 is no longer available? Really curious what it will be.

100% certainty the V6 isn’t going anywhere and 100% this is the R - will probably be shown / ordered as the 802a package which makes sense.

There’s a better chance Biden opens KeystoneXL than the Raptor gets rid of the 3.5 and all come with the 5.2.

Wouldn't the engine show up in the 802a package or in the optional equipment then? I'm not sure how it was on Gen1 when they had different engine options but I'm pretty sure on the non raptor line the engine is listed as an option

I’m sure that sticker will get ironed out and updated, this is a very early assembly build for tooling that our eyes shouldn’t have seen yet.

Looks like the V8 Gen 3 Raptor was code named "Carnivore" during development. It's printed on the sheet next to the engine.

So- why not just turn up the V6 to make 750+ HP?
